Today in my photography class, we experimented with pinhole photography, which is one of the primitive forms of photography, but also one of the hardest to master. It is also an extremely tedious process in D.C.'s oppressive summer heat. It involves a carrying around an empty paint can transformed into a light-tight camera which elicits a lot of suspicious looks from police and pedestrians, one negative, and multiple trips back and forth to the darkroom. Anyway, my camera was malfunctioning and so most of my images came out indistinguishable. My teacher mistook this as deliberately obscure and artistic which was nice. That was today. Tomorrow we're going to the cinema realism exhibit at the Hirshhorn, which I am very excited for.

I enjoy the bowie art. Have you seen the Bowie episode of Flight of the Conchords? Or, the Bowie episode of Extras? Both are amazing.
Yes! I have seen both and I constantly reference them and tell other people to watch them. I feel he infuses everything with a little something extra.
I'd like to point out that I introduced the girl in black tights to Bowie and many other "amazing" things in her cultural life. Just giving myself a little hollaback.
