Today I was researching for my preeminent self-portrait when I discovered this completely fetching lady named Cindy Sherman. She's a living and working artist who has inspired the likes of Jean- Luc Godard in her day. She is famous for her conceptual self portraits which are totally awesome.
Isn't she fabulous?! She is quoted as saying "There was nothing more to say through painting. I was meticulously copying other art and then I realized I could just use a camera and put my time into an idea instead," which makes her my idol for today. Amen Cindy.
