So today was my first day of Art Camp. It was surprisingly hard, and frankly a little discouraging, but I knew I would feel right at home when the precious, adorable little gay boy sitting in front of me had written "Factory Girl" as his favorite movie on his meet and greet survey. As many know, Factory Girl is one of my unabashed not-so-guilty pleasures. I found an instant friend. We spent the rest of the day judging people and being late to class. Many bad self-portraits and shoddy attempts at avant-garde still lifes (such a thing?) did ensue, and consequently I left feeling inadequate. My only consolation is my most recent ebay bargains whose arrival I await with much anticipation! Take a look:
A shrunken 1960's denim jacket!

And....

It's vintage 1970's. I paid way too much for this one, but the jacket was really cheap so it evens out. Am I right?! Yes.

THERE IT IS. The expensive dress steve was telling me about. It's like really cute though so don't feel bad. That's me two cents for the day.
There's a Prada dress somewhat like this in the store window in Aspen. Young lady, you have the eye.....
that's awesome! I feel so much cooler now.
